Andréa Pekeur is an associate in the Corporate Commercial practice, specialising in general corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, and providing general advice on company law and commercial issues.

She has acted for various local, international, listed, unlisted and multinational clients in a variety of industries including the retail, pharmaceutical, metallurgical and hospitality industry.

Her experience includes drafting various commercial agreements such as, inter alia, shareholders agreements, sale of shares, subscription, lease, supply and distribution, settlement, sale of business and related agreements.

She also has extensive dealings and knowledge of trust law and related matters.

Furthermore, her experience includes legal research, providing written advice and memoranda on topics related to compliance with the Companies Act, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act and the Consumer Protection Act.

She has also been involved in a number of due diligence investigations.

Amongst others, she has been involved with instructing and managing local counsel, registering companies with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission and providing general corporate advice.

She is a member of the Western Cape Legal Practice Council.
