Profile

Andrea Weber specialises in advising and representing private clients, banks and family offices in the area of estate planning and distribution of estates. As a member of the Litigation and Arbitration Team, Andrea’s focus is on representing private clients in complex civil litigation, in particular in domestic and international estate and trust litigation including matters of foundation law, matrimonial property law as well as adult protection law proceedings. She represents parties in international arbitrations, before state courts and authorities as well as in enforcement and legal assistance matters.

Andrea Weber was educated at the University of St. Gallen (M.A. HSG in Law 2013) and the University of Santa Clara School of Law (USA). During her studies she worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Civil Law at the University of St. Gallen. In line with her area of expertise, she furthered her education at the University of Edinburgh, School of Law with a Master in Comparative European Private Law (LL.M. 2023, with distinction).

Before she started her current position in 2019, she worked as a trainee at Walder Wyss, as a law clerk at the district court of Horgen and as an attorney at a medium-sized law firm with a focus on private and public commercial law. She was admitted to the bar in 2018.

Andrea Weber's professional languages are German and English. She also speaks French. She is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
