Andrew’s practice focuses on complex commercial and insurance litigation matters.

Andrew has represented clients in federal and state courts in a broad range of cases, particularly the litigation of class actions, insurance coverage matters, and other complex contract disputes. He has also litigated cases involving business tort claims, environmental matters, and patent infringement claims.

Andrew served for two years as a law clerk to Judge Charles A. Pannell, Jr., US District Court Judge for the Northern District of Georgia. He is admitted to practice before the US Courts of Appeals for the Seventh, Eleventh and Federal Circuits, the US District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia and the Eastern District of Texas, and all Georgia and Tennessee state courts.

• Represented law firm in putative class action alleging violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Represented municipality in putative class action alleging unauthorized collection of fines.
• Litigating first-party insurance coverage dispute arising from flood damage to a major industrial facility.
• Litigated environmental permit appeal before the Georgia Office of State Administrative Hearings.
• Negotiated transfer of patent rights and licensing agreement for chemical distribution company.
• Litigated federal civil rights action on behalf of surviving family members of inmate killed in state prison.
• Advised a non-profit association on compliance and risk management issues regarding employment.
• Pro bono practice includes the representation of prisoners in habeas corpus and other constitutional rights litigation.
