Andrew’s practice focuses on complex business and commercial litigation, including class action defense.

Andrew has represented clients in all manner of business and commercial disputes, including contract disputes, unfair competition claims, securities fraud claims, intellectual property claims, internal and regulatory investigations, and class actions.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a judicial extern for the Hon. Robert P. Patterson Jr., United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Andrew is admitted to practice before all state courts in California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is also admitted to practice before the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District Court for the District of Columbia, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Relevant Experience

  • Litigation counsel to defendant retailer in various actions, including consumer class actions, unfair competition claims, and breach of contract.
  • Litigation and advisory counsel to defendant broadcasting and media company in several business and commercial disputes, as well as internal and regulatory investigations.
  • Litigation and discovery counsel to defendant underwriters in multi-district litigation involving allegations of fraud, misrepresentation, and RICO claims in connection with the sale of residential mortgage-backed securities.
  • Litigation and advisory counsel to defendant mining company regarding corporate governance and forensic accounting practices.
  • Advisory counsel to multinational electronics manufacturer in internal corporate governance and compliance review, and government and regulatory investigations in several countries.
  • Pro bono counsel to plaintiff artist in copyright and trademark infringement action against media publication. Obtained favorable settlement for client after the start of trial proceedings.
