Profile
Angelique Barroso-Cordier is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Shipping, Ports and Logistics practice, specialising in maritime law.
Angelique has assisted in matters on behalf of mortgagee banks, clearing and forwarding agents and ships’ agents. She has also assisted in acting on behalf of vessel owners and operators, as well as various trade associations that represent their interests and their insurers (including protection and indemnity clubs and hull underwriters) in a variety of matters.
Angelique’s experience includes advising on matters relating to the sale of vessels, charter parties, contracts of affreightment, and bills of lading, as well as processing and defending maritime claims and logistics-related claims in the South African High Court.
Angelique is a member of the Maritime Law Association of South Africa and plans to undertake further studies with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
