Alejandro Rojas, Partner at BLP in San José, Costa Rica, is an expert in Dispute Resolution with more than 20 years of experience in criminal sciences. He has collaborated in the development of legal policies with international organizations such as UNICEF, USAID, PANIAMOR, MarViva, the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights, among others. A prominent university professor and speaker in legal training in Latin America, he is the author of numerous articles for important media in the legal field. Alejandro joined BLP in 2017 as Special Counsel, bringing extensive knowledge in litigation, especially in criminal and civil liability matters, after a distinguished career as a public defender in Costa Rica. He was named a Partner of the firm in 2023.

BLP advises Medtronic, a world leader in medical technology, in complex criminal litigation caused by management fraud. Amazon victim of electronic fraud. BLP represented Amazon, as a victim of electronic fraud, in a case involving hacking across multiple jurisdictions. As a result of our efforts in criminal court, Amazon was able to recover stolen funds in a case exceeding $370,000.
BLP advises BASF, a leading global company in the production of chemicals and agrochemicals, in cases where the company has been the victim of incidents related to intellectual property and fraud.
BLP represents British American Tobacco (BAT) in various cases where it has been the victim of theft or fraud.
BLP advises Bridgestone/Firestone in a civil lawsuit within a criminal proceeding.
BLP cousels UBER in various lawsuits related to traffic accident injuries, in which it has been sued civilly.
