Allison’s public finance practice focuses on project finance and infrastructure, particularly in the transportation industry. Her corporate and securities litigation practice focuses on securities class actions, derivative suits, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.

In her work on the Public-Private Partnerships team, Allison focuses primarily on advising and representing clients on large-scale infrastructure developments and public-private partnerships (“P3s”).

Also a member of the firm’s corporate and securities litigation practice, she represents public and private companies and company executives in complex civil litigation, securities class actions, and investigations. She is admitted to practice before the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the US District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.

Relevant Experience

• Advising the Virginia Office of Transportation Public-Private Partnerships on privatization matters.
• Representing issuers, individuals and outside advisors in securities class action and litigation matters.
• Representing a company and its board of directors in shareholder class actions in state and federal court in connection with a merger.
• Representing a municipality in a confidential SEC investigation.
