I have 20 years of experience providing advice to government and corporations regarding the procurement, delivery, operation and financing of infrastructure, energy and real estate projects via a range of delivery models (including public-private partnerships). In addition to private practice experience in Australia and the United Kingdom, I have extensive in-house experience with roles as a project sponsor and investor, a design and construct contractor and a maintenance provider.

I have a keen interest in, and deep understanding of, the infrastructure industry and the key legal and commercial issues impacting the procurement, delivery, operation and financing of infrastructure projects. Using this, I provide commercially focused advice to government and private sector clients across the entire lifecycle of a project (including planning and development, procurement, delivery and operations), as well as advice regarding private investment in those projects (including equity structure and governance, debt financing and divestments).

• Advised sponsors for a consortium bidding for the Geelong Convention and Event Centre.
• Advised the State government on the procurement of the New Melton Hospital.
• Provided commercial advisory services to the NSW Government for the procurement of the Sydney Metro West project and the implementation of the WaterNSW Renewable Energy and Storage Program.
• Commercial / Legal Lead for the CIMIC Group led consortiums bidding for Inland Rail (Gowrie to Kagaru PPP), North East Link – Primary Package, the Regional Rail Project and the Western Roads Upgrade.
• Commercial / Legal Lead for the D&C joint venture partners that were part of the CIMIC Group led consortium bidding for the Tunnels and Stations package of the Melbourne Metro Rail Project.
• Legal Lead for CPB Contractors' bids (with its alliance partners) for the Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project and the FMBH Package of the Level Crossing Removal Project.
• Supported the operations teams providing facilities management services on The Partnerships Victoria in Schools Project, The Royal Women’s Hospital and Victorian Correctional Facilities.
• Supported the bid teams bidding for, as members of consortia, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Northern Territory Secure Facilities, New Schools PPP and Auckland Prison.
• Advised on the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre, the National Broadband Networks Gold Coast Light Rail, the Victorian Desalination Project, the South Australian Desalination Project, the Royal Children’s Hospital, Regional Fast Rail Project, BassGas arbitration as a former team member of another Australian law firm.
• Advised on a school's PFI project, the Greater Manchester Waste Project, the procurement of trains and maintenance services by National Rail, the King's Cross urban redevelopment and a port project in Djibouti as a former team member of a law firm in England.
