Profile
Annelie Giles is an Executive at ENS in the Tax practice. She is a chartered accountant and specialises in value-added tax (“VAT”) consulting.
Annelie focuses on assisting corporate clients with legislative interpretations and providing practical solutions on complex VAT matters across various industries, including issues concerning cross-border transactions, group reorganisations and the non-profit sector.
She is also experienced in VAT dispute resolution, VAT ruling applications, voluntary disclosure (VDP) applications and due diligence reviews.
Prior to joining ENSafrica, Annelie managed the Gauteng VAT Compliance Practice at a large multinational professional services firm, which provided valuable insight into the South African Revenue Service's processes and requirements. She simultaneously managed a complex VAT consulting portfolio in line with her current focus areas.
