Profile
Anthony focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, business reorganizations, workouts and commercial litigation. His insolvency and bankruptcy practice has involved the representation of both debtors and creditors—individually and as counsel to the creditors’ committee. He has experience both defending and prosecuting adversary proceedings, including preference actions.
His commercial litigation experience has included the successful trial and arbitration of complex commercial, securities, employment, and intellectual property disputes. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.

Professional Career
Debtors – Representing the owner-operator of continuing care retirement communities in Northern California in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case pending in the Northern District of California. The successful chapter 11 reorganization of the operator of more than 70 summer camps across three states, in which the creditors' claims were all satisfied in full. The successful chapter 11 reorganization of a specialty medical supply distributor, in which the creditors' claims were all satisfied in full.
Creditors – Representing a medical care consultancy firm in the successful resolution of a preference action. Representing a public-entity health plan provider in the successful resolution of an adversary proceeding in which the debtor sought recovery of more than $25 million in damages.
Civil Litigation – Representing a food and beverage manufacturer and distributor in an international arbitration against one of its licensees. Defending a senior living management company in a dispute with investors, in which we obtained a complete dismissal of the plaintiffs' claims with prejudice. Representing a construction contractor limited partnership in a multimillion dollar dispute with one of its limited partners. Representing an executive in a dispute with his former employer over unpaid compensation, in which we successfully negotiated a multimillion-dollar settlement on behalf of our client.
