Profile
Chris has represented clients in all phases of commercial litigation, including trial, pursuing timely dispositive motions, resolving disputes through mediation and arguing before the Colorado Court of Appeals. In addition to his commercial litigation practice, he also represents and advises government entities in civil rights litigation, including cases involving prisoner care and alleged Eighth and Fourteenth Amendment violations. He also has experience with complex discovery litigation, including pursuing aggressive discovery motions and overseeing teams of attorneys conducting extensive document review, analysis and production. In addition, Chris represents clients in real estate matters, including quiet title actions, commercial real estate contract disputes and access disputes involving adverse possession and easements.
Along with his trial practice, he counsels clients in drafting and enforcing effective records retention policies and procedures and guides clients through electronic discovery during litigation.
