Profile

Chris’s in-house experience working at an asset management private equity firm enables him to brings a unique client perspective to how complex real estate deals are structured.

Chris represents operators, developers and both institutional and non-institutional investors in connection with the formation and structuring of real estate joint ventures and other investment vehicles. He regularly handles the acquisition, development, operation and disposition of commercial real estate in a variety of asset classes, including retail, hospitality, multifamily, office, industrial, mixed-use and vacant land. Additionally, Chris works with both borrowers and lenders in connection with the financing and refinancing of assets through securitized and portfolio mortgage and mezzanine debt, preferred equity, purchase and repurchase financing and other credit facilities and the acquisition and restructuring of distressed and non-distressed debt.

Enhancing his perspective in these areas, Chris previously served as in-house counsel at Alliant Asset Management Company, a large private equity firm specializing in investments funded through low income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits and historic property tax credits
