David Layman is an associate in Bradley’s Litigation and Banking and Financial Services practice groups. He has experience in a range of litigation matters.

Prior to joining Bradley, David was a Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps attorney with the United States Air Force for five years, where he litigated dozens of criminal trial courts-martial, partnered with law enforcement on case investigation and evidence disposition, and represented the United States as the Agency in labor law arbitrations and administrative hearing boards. David is currently an Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Reservist assigned to the 628th Air Base Wing at Joint Base Charleston.

David received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2018, where he was an articles editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property and a member of the Wake Forest Moot Court Board, competing in the Tulane Sports Law competition in 2018. David was presented the North Carolina Advocates for Justice award in 2018.
