He also assists several Norwegian and international banks and financial institutions, and has assisted several banks in major restructuring processes.

Erlend was the head of the Singapore office of Simonsen Vogt Wiig from 2007 – 2009.

He is ranked as one of Norway’s leading lawyers within his areas of expertise, including «Hall of Fame» within Offshore Construction and Shipbuilding (Legal 500) and in Band 2 within Shipping: Finance (Chambers and Partners).
