Geri represents low income clients as part of the Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP/University of Virginia School of Law Pro Bono Partnership.

Geri is an associate in the firm’s pro bono office in Charlottesville, Virginia. Geri’s practice focuses exclusively on pro bono matters, and concentrates on representing and advising domestic violence survivors seeking court protection from an abusive partner for themselves and their children. Geri also helps to coordinate the firm’s Pro Bono Partnership with the University of Virginia School of Law, which pairs law students with Hunton Andrews Kurth lawyers to represent low income client in various civil pro bono matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Geri served as a law clerk for the Honorable Norman K. Moon of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. She spent two years as a volunteer with the Peace Corps in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, West Africa and studied the archeology of ancient Greece as a Fulbright Fellow. In 2005, Geri through-hiked the entire 2,175-mile Appalachian Trail.
