Further, Gøran has experience within company law and contract law, including transactions with equity transactions, acquisitions and divestment of businesses, share issues, mergers and de-mergers, restructuring and reorganisations of businesses. He has worked with many of Norway’s largest transactions in commercial real estate since 2009 in addition to advising Norwegian and international clients in the Norwegian market, both in relation to equity and loan and bond financing.

Gøran was listed as a “recommended lawyer” within commercial real estate in Legal 500 in 2015 and 2016. In Chambers has was ranked as “up and coming” in 2017 and 2018 and in the 2019 edition he is ranked in Band 4 within commercial real estate, and Gøran is said to have a “strong commercial understanding of all aspects of complex real estate transactions”.

Gøran has, in addition to 16 years’ experience as a lawyer, experience from Norges Bank Investment Management which manages the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund (NBIM). In NBIM Gøran’s work was related to strategic investments, including real estate investments and general legal assistance to the operational departments of NBIM.
