Career highlights

• Acting as General Counsel to one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest real estate brands, overseeing a strong legal compliance framework and the sale of over $50B worth of real estate internationally.
• Completing a substantial corporate restructure of an Australian real estate business separating national and international focussed entities to improve transparency and provide greater business efficiencies.
• Managed the sale of a real estate organisation’s proprietary software to a publicly listed company, whilst assisting with the roll-out of a new CRM, including critical supply agreements for over 400 franchised offices internationally.
• Completed a secondment to the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Corporation over a two year period to deliver a number of critical agreements with some of the world’s largest corporations. During this time, I was instrumental in the procurement of timing, scoring and results services across 18 competition venues, ultimately resulting in the largest combined sponsorship/supply related agreements in Commonwealth Games history. I also played a pivotal role in the procurement of four primary security providers to source, train and deploy more than 4,000 security guards.
• Acting in the acquisition of an international franchise system and associated intellectual property for in excess of 100 sites throughout Australia and internationally.
• Finalist in the 2023 LawyersWeekly Corporate Counsel Awards Construction and Real Estate Lawyer of the Year category, also as part of the 2017 LawyersWeekly Australian Law Awards In-House Team of the Year, and the 2016 LawyersWeekly Corporate Counsel Awards Sport and Entertainment Team of the Year.
