Profile
Henry Walker focuses his practice on state utility regulation with emphasis in the fields of electricity, telecommunications, wastewater services, pipelines, and natural gas. He represents utility clients in proceedings before state public service commissions throughout the Southeast.
Prior to joining Bradley, Henry was the general counsel for the Tennessee Public Service Commission for 13 years. He also worked for the United States Department of Justice and as an Assistant District Attorney General in Nashville. He clerked for Judge Gilbert S. Merritt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Henry was featured in the January/February 2013 issue of Business Tennessee's "150 Best Lawyers" for his utilities regulation practice. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for his energy law practice, Mid-South Super Lawyers for government/cities/municipalities and The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers for regulatory communications.
Henry serves on the board of the Tennessee State Museum Foundation and East Nashville Hope Exchange. He is also the Senior Warden at St. Ann's Episcopal Church. For eight years, he wrote a column on media criticism in Nashville's alternative weekly and appeared regularly on a local political talk show.
Henry received his law degree from the Harvard School of Law and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Yale University.
