Hervé’s practice focuses on corporate law, transactions and financial regulatory law.

Hervé has assisted multinational corporations with mergers and acquisitions, financing, commercial contracts and litigation, intellectual property issues, real estate matters, selected labor law matters, stock option plans and general corporate advice. His clients include chemical companies, insurance companies, truck manufacturers, real estate corporations, bio-tech and high-tech companies.

    • Advised Korean construction equipment manufacturer on sales of receivables program, commercial agreement throughout Europe and acquisitions in Europe.
    • Advised post operator on investment and subsequent divestment in Belgium.
    • Advised Danish logistic company on €750 million acquisition in Belgium.
    • Advised French private equity fund on several acquisitions in Belgium.
    • Advised Japanese chemical company on commercial agreements in EU jurisdictions and North Africa.
    • Advised and assisted a manufacturer of construction equipment to set up a €50 million sale of receivables program.
    • Advised a Luxemburg firm on various legal aspects of a private offering of portfolios of claims (placement privé en créance).
    • Advised a British Virgin Isles private equity fund on a €13.8 million secured loan to a Belgian start-up company.
    • Advised a chemical company on (i) closing of Belgian plant, including negotiations with the unions and (ii) on the sale of one of its European businesses.
    • Advised a software company on software license agreement and maintenance agreements.
    • Represented food companies on sale of sterilization business and regulatory issues in connection with use of gamma ray for food products.
