Hunter Pearce maintains a diverse commercial and appellate litigation practice.

His commercial litigation experience includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving breach of contract, noncompete, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements, trade secrets, intellectual property, and business torts. Hunter has also represented clients in disputes involving constitutional law, real property, wills and estates, government contracts, and shareholders in close corporations and LLCs.

Hunter has handled appeals in the Eleventh, Sixth, and Ninth circuits and in the Alabama Supreme Court. He also regularly advises clients on legal strategy and issue preservation in anticipation of an appeal. Hunter regularly uses his legal research and writing skills to assist in briefing dispositive, post-judgment, and other key motions at the trial-court level.

Hunter frequently represents defendants in False Claims Act cases, securing a number of dismissals of qui tam complaints on behalf of healthcare providers. He also has advised clients on successor liability and corporate veil-piercing issues that arise both in government enforcement actions and in civil litigation.

Before joining Bradley, Hunter clerked for the Hon. W. Keith Watkins, Hon. Myron H. Thompson, and Hon. W. Harold Albritton III of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
