- Health care finance, multi-family housing, tax exempt finance, commercial paper transactions, “lower floater,” certificates of participation in trust pools and municipal leases, and disclosure, registration, exemption and Blue Sky Opinions in public underwritings.
- General health care law, including hospital joint ventures, physician practice issues, integrated healthcare delivery systems, medicare fraud and abuse, 501(c)(3) issues for health care and health care-related entities, medical staff issues, and HIPAA compliance.
- Bond counsel or underwriter counsel in over $3,000,000,000 of taxable and tax-exempt bonds and commercial paper in over 275 separate transactions as well as in initial bond issues start-up of several long-term care facilities.
- Bond counsel in housing, single and multi-family, solid waste disposal, manufacturing, as well as city, county and school district tax-exempt financings.
- Conceived and structured first hospital authority municipal commercial paper transaction in Texas.
