Director, Linguistic Services

Jean-François Lauzon is the director of linguistic services for all of the firm’s offices. He manages and coordinates the translation projects of the firm's clients, leads the firm's team of experienced language professionals, and conducts the communications and follow-up with the clients for the completion of the translation mandates.

Significant Accomplishments

The primary focus of the firm's linguistic services team is to translate the various types of documents required in securities law on behalf of the firm's clients, including major Canadian and foreign law firms, financial institutions, and corporations, but it also handles clients' translation requirements in a wide variety of other legal subjects.

Before joining Lavery in 2007, Mr. Lauzon held a similar position for nearly three years with another major Montréal law firm.
