Joyce focuses her practice on leading clients through health care regulatory compliance matter. Her extensive background in the legal space at health organizations like Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Stanford Health Care uniquely position her to effectively and masterfully mitigate legal risks for her clients. Joyce specializes in areas such as privacy and security compliance, conducting internal HIPAA audits, advising on the design of software development in relation to monitoring access to EMRs, providing recommendations to hospitals on policies and procedures for high-profile patients, integrating wearable technologies, such as the Watch, into electronical medical records, reviewing IRB protocols for clinical research agreements between academic medical centers and partners, and more.
