In Environmental, Health & Occupational Safety, she has mastered the process of obtaining permits and licenses, environmental mitigation contracts, preparation of environmental impact studies, and community engagement strategies. Significant Accomplishments
El Tornillito Hydroelectric Project, the second largest hydroelectric project in Honduras. BLP assisted the project in the good compliance of the Environmental License, Contract of Operation and Contract of Water. BLP advised the client on obtaining an extension of the environmental license and extending the initial concession to 200 Megas. El Tornillito is the third-largest hydroelectric project in the region in terms of renewable energy development. 
BLP advised Aquarela La Grecia, the most important sugar mill in Honduras. BLP has advised the client in obtaining the permits and meeting the requirements necessary to consider itself a 100% sustainable company using all of its waste for energy generation through biomass.  
BLP assisted CELSIA with the entire process to obtain nvironmental Licenses.  BLP also assisted in the registration of suppliers of equipment and materials for generating electricity. Moreover, CELSIA was registered in the Registry of Exonerates to enjoy the tax benefit of the General Directorate of Customs Franchise Control of the Ministry of Finance.  
San Marcos Wind Energy, one of the largest renewable energy projects in the country. BLP assisted San Marcos Wind Energy in developing a wind energy project with a capacity of 118 MW. BLP assisted in all matters relating to securing new land for the projects and complying with all environmental processes.  
Celsia Solar El Corbano and Rio Blanquito Project in Choloma for energy development. BLP assists them in all the legal procedures necessary for the change of address and the renewal of registrations as generators and suppliers of solar material. BLP also assisted in the first and second stages of the new maquila power generation projects located at Parkdale Mills (world’s largest yarn producer).
BLP advised ZIP San José on the project for the constitution of a solar self-consumption maquila. BLP assisted on the registration process with Honduras’ electricity regulator. Similarly, the firm advises on the possible sale of the project to ZIP San Jose, the only Industrial Park located in the city of San Pedro (one of the strongest and largest textile producers in the country) where it is intended to develop the energy project for self-consumption. 
BLP advised United Parcel Service on the cancellation of the operation certificate that UPS held within Honduran territory. The transaction involved the preparation of an important filing submitted against the Honduran regulator for canceling the operation certificate that UPS held in Honduras.
Advised Scatec Solar and Norfund regarding the financing of $250 million in projects for the construction, development, and operation of photovoltaic (PV) power plants.
Advised SunEdison regarding the financing of $150 million in projects for the construction, development, and operation of photovoltaic (PV) power plants.
Advised Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy regarding the financing of $300 million in projects for the construction, development, and operation of wind farms.
