Katherine's practice focuses on global outsourcing, corporate and commercial contracting matters.

Katherine is a member of the global technology, outsourcing & privacy practice. She assists clients with complex commercial contracting matters, including the drafting of various corporate, commercial and licensing contracts and agreements, and the preparation and documentation of complex information technology and business process outsourcing transactions. She has extensive project management experience, including providing comprehensive legal analysis, contract drafting and data analysis. Katherine also has assisted clients with insurance, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate issues.

Prior to joining Hunton & Williams LLP, Katherine was an executive editor of a journal analyzing regulatory, contractual and antitrust issues in large public mergers, and an adjunct professor of law at the University of Richmond School of Law teaching contract drafting. Katherine served as a law clerk to United States Magistrate Judge James E. Bradberry in the Eastern District of Virginia.

  • Assisting with the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts for a leading consumer products manufacturer, including sales and purchase agreements, service agreements, and software license agreements.
  • Assisting with the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts for a Fortune 175 corporation, including procurement, purchase, supply chain and consulting agreements.
  • Assisting in the representation of a leading consumer services company, including preparation of master software and license agreement, and review and preparation of applicable statements of work.
  • Assisted with the preparation and documentation of outsourcing transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and processes, including information technology outsourcing, and finance and accounting outsourcing.
