Profile
Leon Jimenez has over five years of professional experience related to antitrust matters.
He has participated as legal adviser on pre-merger concentration processes before the Federal Economic Competition Commission. Among the relevant transactions in which Leon has advised, there are complex concentrations in the Mexican electricity market and oil field service markets.
In the field of investigations into anticompetitive practices, Leoon has participated in the defence of financial entities such as commercial banking institutions and pension fund managers in the context of cartel investigations. He has also gained experience in antitrust audits for companies and business associations, as well as preparing preventative analysis of commercial practices for important clients in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors.
Leon is a member of the Mexican Association of Lawyers.

Professional Activities and Experience
Previously, Leon was in charge of antitrust matters at CMS Woodhouse Lorente Ludlow, S.C and he was part of the Mexican legal teams of large multinational companies such as Pfizer and Axa Seguros. As a corporate lawyer, León contributed to M & A transactions, preparing contracts with suppliers and clients, drafted company assembly documents and set up commercial companies, as well as being part of an investment advisory team.
