Linda Cuellar is an Associate at the BLP office in El Salvador, specializing in Business Law, Banking & Finance, and Conflict Resolution. With 14 years of experience, she has advised national and transnational companies on daily matters, as well as on Mergers & Acquisitions, and Due Diligence, among others. In Banking & Finance, she has extensive experience in drafting and advising on credit contracts and guarantees for prestigious financial institutions in El Salvador. Since 2020, Linda has also participated as secretary of arbitration tribunals in international arbitrations before the ICC and the LCIA, in matters related to construction, hydrocarbons and renewable energies. She joined BLP in 2023 as an associate.

Significant Accomplishments
BLP has advised the lenders in two credit facilities granted to Ventus. BLP acted as lead counsel of Banco Agromercantil de Guatemala in a bridge loan granted to Ventus for the refinancing and repayment of a $70.4 million syndicated credit facility for the construction and operation of the first wind farm in El Salvador. BLP assisted in drafting and negotiating the loan agreement and securities and canceling existing securities.
