An associate in the Commercial Litigation practice, Makala focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, investigations, and business disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Makala worked as an associate in Los Angeles at a Am Law 100 firm. While in law school, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Andre Birotte Jr. in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
