Mbali Sibanda is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Banking and Finance practice.

She has local and international experience, including working in London for a leading US law firm.  In this role, Mbali was priliged to get exposure to both UK and US corporate finance transactions.

Mbali  specialises in general banking and debt finance with a particular focus on leverage and acqusition finance, fund finance and sovereign lends. Her experience includes advising on a range of corporate finance transactions, including cross-border bilateral transactions to syndicated transactions and related security structures. Mbali has advised domestic and international banks, development finance instutions, private equity funds, listed and private entities in various sectors, including, real estate, agriculture, infrastruucture, renewable energy and technology.

In addition,  Mbali has a keen interest in sustainable finance and the digital economy, she is completing her LLM in these areas.

Mbali  is the Impact Officer of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community. She is also a Reginal Representative of the Southern African Wing of Afronomicslaw.
