Profile

Olivier van den Brand works as an associate in the private client team. He advises private clients on estate planning, relocation, philanthropy and immigration. He further represents our clients in domestic and international disputes, mainly in the fields of succession and family law.

Olivier van den Brand studied at the University of Geneva, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration (2016), a bachelor's degree in law (2019) and a master's degree in law (2021, prize for the best master's thesis). He completed his final year of his bachelor in business Administration at Stockholm University. In parallel to his studies, Olivier van den Brand worked as a research assistant for SNSF Prof. Sévane Garibian at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva (international criminal law). In 2021, he obtained the Certificate of Advanced Legal Studies (Ecole d'avocature) at the University of Geneva. He then completed his traineeship at Walder Wyss and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in May 2023.

Olivier van den Brand works in French and English. He also has a passive knowledge of German and Dutch. Registered with the Geneva Bar, he is admitted to practice before all Swiss courts.
