Rachel is an Associate in the Commercial team. Rachel advises on a wide range of commercial matters across different sectors including compliance with consumer protection law and has experience advising on IT agreements, manufacturing, supply agreements for the provision of both goods and services, franchise agreements and distribution agreements.  Rachel has spent time on secondment with three clients across different sectors including a  major automotive manufacturer and a national hotel chain. As a result of her experience in-house Rachel understands the commercial drivers of clients' decisions and is able to provide tailored commercial advice.

Rachel also has experience in Data Privacy and has advised on international data breaches, global privacy projects, privacy policies and compliance with the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Rachel read Business Management at the University of Manchester before completing the Law Conversion and Legal Practice Course.

Rachel joined Shoosmiths as a trainee solicitor in 2018 and qualified into the Commercial Team in September 2020.
