Robin-Renee Keys is an associate in Bradley’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. Robin-Renee’s practice is focused on helping financial services clients navigate the regulatory and compliance issues most critical to their business. Robin-Renee’s compliance experience encompasses issues arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), including the many regulations interpreting those statutes. She analyzes and advises on regulations issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and other regulatory bodies.

Robin-Renee’s practice also focuses on financial services litigation and regulation, and she is actively involved in lawsuits and disputes across the country representing companies involved in a wide array of state and federal law claims. Her representation includes general defense of various claims against financial institutions, mortgage companies, and other commercial entities. She has experience defending claims ranging from single borrower mortgage servicing disputes to nationwide class action lawsuits dealing with TILA and RESPA claims.

Robin-Renee’s goal is to provide practical, useful advice to clients acting as an ally in their business.

Robin-Renee is an active member of Bradley’s LGBTQ+ Resource Group and is a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQ community. She works to support and uplift the community through various initiatives and resources, and has a strong commitment to ensuring equal access to legal services. Robin-Renee has played a pivotal role in hosting and creating the Pride Month Wills Clinic in collaboration with the Magic City Legal Center, Magic City Acceptance Center, and Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham. Her dedication has made her a sought-after speaker and mentor to law students on LGBTQ legal issues. She has participated in notable engagements including "LGBTQ in the Law" at Cumberland School of Law on National Coming Out Day, “LGBTQ in the Law” OUTLaw Panel at the University of Alabama Law School, and many others.

Robin-Renee received her J.D. magna cum laude from Southern University Law Center, where she was the articles editor for the Journal of Race, Gender and Poverty and treasurer of the Student Bar Association. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University.
