Ms. Chen has over ten years of work experience at law firms and high-tech corporations in the PRC. Her practice focuses on intellectual property protection, litigation and dispute resolution, foreign direct investment, and mergers and acquisitions. In particular, Ms. Chen specializes in designing strategies and advising biotechnology, pharmaceutical, software and Internet companies on intellectual property rights protection matters. Her legal services include disputes resolution related to foreign direct investment, establishment of various types of foreign-invested enterprises, design and reformation of company structures, equity or asset transfers, disposal transactions of state-owned assets, strategic planning, and furnishing advice on clients' operational matters.
Ms. Chen has represented a variety of multinational companies in handling their intellectual property matters in China, including providing legal advice regarding intellectual property rights, designing intellectual property rights protection strategies, participating in investigations and litigations involving the use of trademarks, unfair competitions, patents, copyrights, domain names, and enterprise name infringements, drafting patent specifications and claims, trademark review, opposition and dispute claims, patent review and invalidation claims, patents, trademarks, and copyrights registration, drafting and reviewing technical related agreements. Ms. Chen has extensive experience across a wide range of industry sectors, including electronic products, computer, software, the Internet, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, foodstuff, beverage, fashion, packaging, automobile, and textile. Ms. Chen has also advised a broad array of multinational companies, such as GM, Sony, Nestle, Coca Cola, Louis Vuitton Malletier, Microfibris, Atlas Copco, Wal-Mart, Gibson, Guthy-Renker, Jabil, Promega, and Baidu.com.

Education
Ms. Chen graduated from Peking University with an LL.B. and Bachelor of Science Degree. She concentrated on intellectual property law and received the Huang Jinfu Scholarship during her study at Peking University. Ms. Chen received her LLM degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
