Sonya Figueredo is a managing associate within the tax department of Walder Wyss, Geneva. She practices in the field of personal and corporate taxation on both domestic and international level. She assists private clients in the scope of their relocation, asset reorganization, estate planning and real estate transactions. In the field of corporate tax, she provides corporate restructuring advises and tax due diligence, among others. In addition, her practice includes the representation of clients in tax litigation and in the context of tax ruling negotiations with the Swiss tax authorities.

Sonya Figueredo studied in the University of Geneva where she obtained a Bachelor of Law (2008), a Master of Law (2010), a Certificate of international law (2010), a Certificate of advanced studies in legal professions (2012) and her lawyer's license (2016). Prior to joining Walder Wyss, she practiced tax law in one of the major multinationals financial firms and in another leading Swiss law tax firm.

Sonya Figueredo speaks French, English and Bulgarian. She is registered with the Geneva Bar Registry and is admitted to practice in all Swiss cantons. She is member of the Geneva Bar Association and the Swiss Bar Association.
