Stanley Bynum was a partner before retiring at Bradley. He was with the firm since 1971, and his former primary areas of practice were construction law, commercial law, and international law.

Stanley received his B.A. from Princeton University (cum laude, 1968) and a J.D. degree from the University of Alabama (1971). Other distinctions and honors included Order of the Coif, editor-in-chief of the Alabama Law Review, Hugo Black Scholar, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Jasons.
