Profile

Stefanie’s practice focuses on structured finance and securitization transactions.

Stefanie Kennedy is an associate on the structured finance and securitization team. Stefanie represents financial institutions, issuers, underwriters, lenders, borrowers and other parties in financing and securitization of various asset classes. She is experienced in advising clients in matters regarding private securitizations of performing and non-performing mortgage loans and REO properties.

Prior to joining the firm, Stefanie was an associate at another New York based firm, where she represented investment banks and financial institutions in their roles as issuers, underwriters, placement agents and loan sellers in connection with the public and private offering of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), single-asset/single-borrower loans (SASB) and commercial real estate collateralized loan obligations (CRE CLO). At that time, she prepared securitization offering documents, drafted and negotiated underlying deal documents and managed the team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure proper execution and delivery of all documents in advance of the closing.
