Forrest is an associate in our Jersey corporate practice. He assists with a range of corporate, banking, and finance matters.

Forrest joined Carey Olsen in October 2022, having qualified as a solicitor in Scotland. He undertook his traineeship with Lindsays LLP in Edinburgh, where he gained wide experience in corporate and commercial property law, as well as in dispute resolution and litigation. Previously, Forrest tutored on the University of Aberdeen's LLB course in Scots public, criminal, and family law.

Forrest collected his LLB from the University of Edinburgh, before completing his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to studying law, he read economics at the University of Aberdeen and went on to work in the accountancy industry.

At university Forrest was a keen mooter (mock civil proceedings), and in 2019 argued before the Court of Session (Scotland's highest civil court) in Edinburgh.
