Tim Willman is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Banking & Financial Services practice groups. Tim has extensive experience assisting clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts. His experience includes fact investigation, drafting initial pleadings, discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions practice, trial, post-trial matters and appeal. He has tried cases to verdict and has participated in both judicial and non-judicial settlement negotiations and mediations.

In addition, his experience includes drafting various motions, discovery, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs that focus on contract, intellectual property, constitutional and commercial law matters. Tim has experience providing legal counsel to corporate clients with respect to environmental issues and has advised environmental clients regarding compliance with applicable laws, responding to subpoenas issued by state and federal regulators, and mitigating any potential client exposure. He has also represented clients in lawsuits in multiple states involving claims brought by state and federal regulators alleging violations of environmental laws, including CERCLA.

Tim received his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where he served as an associate editor on the Maryland Law Review. Prior to law school, Tim attended the University of Connecticut, where he obtained degrees in Economics and Geography.
