Timothy graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2016, and trained at TSMP before being called to the Singapore Bar in 2017. Timothy’s main area of practice is in litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on construction and engineering-related work.

He has acted in a broad spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious matters involving commercial and construction disputes, defamation, insolvency and bankruptcy, trust disputes, as well as criminal defence work. He also has experience in a diverse range of construction and infrastructure projects, spanning from hospitals, mixed-use developments and conservation buildings to railway and tunneling projects.

Timothy believes in treating each client as his only client, and commits to their causes and concerns as though they were his own. Never one to back down from a fight, he also believes in picking his battles, and consistently searches for commercially-sensible solutions and outcomes for his clients, which range from MNCs and Singapore-listed companies to social media agencies and the man on the street.

Timothy hones his dogged determination and tough disposition with a well-balanced diet of bench presses and gritty Boston neo-noirs. A shark with a heart, Timothy frequently volunteers to conduct legal clinics at the State Courts and community centres, and is also a volunteer lawyer with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme. He is also an active member of the firm’s pro bono committee, which organizes activities and events for the elderly, migrant workers and at-risk youth.
