With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, he brings extensive knowledge in chemistry, biological materials, medical treatments and diagnostics, and polymers.

He excels in crafting and managing robust patent portfolios for clients ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 companies, universities, and government organizations that effectively safeguard his client’s innovations. Prior to his legal career, Weston earned his B.S. from the University of Michigan followed by attending graduate school at the University of Vermont College of Medicine where he conducted pioneering research on the prothrombinase complex, contributing to top biomedical journals. As a post-doctoral fellow at Pfizer, Inc., he contributed to research teams in small molecule anticoagulant drug discovery, showcasing expertise in enzymology, protein structure analysis, and intracellular signaling.

Weston earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law and is admitted to practice before the Connecticut state courts and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
