Aubrey focuses his practice on public finance. He has experience serving as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and borrower’s counsel in a variety of traditional governmental and qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt financings. He has assisted with a broad range of traditional governmental financings for school districts, water and sewer authorities, and townships and also has assisted with conduit financings for 501(c)(3) organizations, such as senior living providers, hospital systems, and private colleges and universities. Aubrey has a passion for public service that he developed during his years working for the State of Ohio, first in the Ohio Legislature and later the Ohio Department of Development, and enjoys helping facilitate the public benefits that municipal finance transactions provide.

Aubrey earned his law degree from Capital University Law School. During law school, Aubrey served as a content editor on the Capital University Law Review. His comment, Federal Regulation of the Municipal Securities Market: Testing the Efficacy of the Political Process as a Tenth Amendment Limitation on Congress, was published in Volume 49 of the Capital University Law Review.
