Brian’s practice focuses on antitrust and trade regulation, including merger review, government investigations, antitrust litigation, and antitrust counseling.

Brian is an associate in the competition practice group in Washington, DC, where he focuses his practice on a variety of antitrust matters, including merger review, litigation, and counseling.

Prior to joining Hunton & Williams LLP, Brian earned his LLM in competition law at New York University where he received the Frank T. Diersen Prize for graduating number one in his program. Before attending New York University, Brian worked as a prosecutor for the City of Chicago and as an extern for US District Court Judge John W. Darrah.

• Representing water works company in Federal Trade Commission anticompetitive practices investigation.
• Representing a leading alcoholic beverages supply company in a state attorney general antitrust investigation.
• Defended provider of defense services in an action by a competitor challenging an exclusive supply agreement as an unreasonable restraint of trade under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
• Provided merger counseling for a proposed joint venture between two defense contractors.
• Counseled manufacturer on potential antitrust and state law concerns related to a large-scale reorganization of its distribution network.
