Development Victoria / Major Projects Victoria: Advised on various projects including:

• Procurement and negotiation of construction and consultancy agreements for Melbourne Park - Rod Laver Arena Refurbishment, Show Court Arena, Batman Ave Bridge, Eastern Plaza, Administration and Media Centre, conference/events venue and central logistics hub.
• Prepared contracts for Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation project (southern and northern packages) including managing contractor contracts, design and construct contracts, demolition contracts, design competition conditions and consultancy agreement for new National Gallery of Victoria (Contemporary).
• Preparation of construction documentation for State Sport Facility Project at Albert Park.
• Prepared and negotiated design consultancy agreement with Cox and D&C contract for State Basketball Centre.
• Prepared and negotiated tender contract for Fitzroy Sports Centre.
• Preparing design consultancy agreement and head contract for Affordable Build to Rent development on former Fitzroy Gasworks site.
• Prepared and negotiated D&C contract for Docklands Studio Melbourne Sound Stage 6.
• Prepared and negotiated D&C contract for State Theatre Fly System Replacement.
• Prepared and negotiated construction documents for Geelong Performing Arts Centre Stage 3 and 2 including D&C contract, VicRoads airspace licence agreement and MC contract.
• Prepared and negotiated contracts for the VEMTC training facility in Craigieburn. This included drafting consultancy agreements and the MC contract.

Department of Education: Preparing and negotiating contracts for the procurement of the Department's relocatable building program, a State-wide program for the procurement, construction, transit, installation, decommissioning, refurbishment and storage of relocatable buildings to meet the teaching needs of schools across Victoria. With contractors' activities being based on enrolment figures confirmed late in the year, we worked closely with the delivery team and commercial advisors to manage time critical delivery of modules in a complex operating environment, including supporting the development of the specifications and KPI regime.

TasRail (10+ years engagement): construct projects including current shiploader project at Port of Burnie, customer contract and procurement contracts for supply of locomotive and wagons, sleeper upgrades and new train control system.

VicWater:

• Preparing Major Works Contract with construct only, design and construct and renewal works modules
• Preparing minor works contract
• Participating in workshops with all Victorian Water Corporations to discuss contracting issue
• Places Victoria: Advised on various matters including property service advices including the Batmans Hill project, advising on the proposed Dandenong recycled water pipeline and numerous other projects.

Major Projects Victoria / Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development: Advised on the D&C contract for the relocation of the Melbourne Wholesale Market Project including preparing risk assessments and negotiating the MC contract with the successful tenderer.

GPT: Assisted with preparation and negotiation of D&C Contracts for Melbourne Central Rooftop Redevelopment and Chirnside Park Redevelopments.

Frasers: Drafted the design and construct contracts for the development of the Parkville project which has been undertaken across various stages.

Stockland: Prepared documents and assisted in negotiation of development and construction contracts across a range of Victorian greenfield developments.

Vicinity Centres: Preparing and negotiation major design and construct contracts for the Glen Shopping Centre (Melbourne), Chadstone Shopping Centre (Various stages), the redevelopment of the Mandurah Forum Shopping Centre (Perth), the Perth Airport DFO and Chatswood Chase Redevelopment.

Coles Group Property Developments: Advised on the design and construct contracts and other construction contracts for development or refurbishment of new supermarkets. This has involved the production, negotiation and preparation of execution versions for over 80 projects..

Australia Pacific Airports Corporation Limited: Drafted and negotiated the contracts for the refurbishment of the runways at Melbourne Airport (the Runway Overlay Project). The project demanded novel provisions to support narrow windows of access time, critical daily mobilisation and demobilisation times and procedures and an incentive regime to increase the prospects of timely delivery with no unscheduled interference with airport activities. Operational and safety issues were paramount risk allocation issues.
