Chanakan is an associate in the corporate practice of the firm’s Bangkok office. She focuses her practice on corporate, civil, and commercial law.
She is experienced in a variety of legal areas including general corporate, criminal law, civil and commercial law, regulatory compliance, corruption and misconduct by a state official and bankruptcy and rehabilitation cases.
Relevant Experience
- In charge of the defense of the civil lawsuit and the petition for a class action against a global automotive producer and its affiliates, totaling four entities, as the defendants. The grounds of the claim relates to defective products or unsafe product and misleading advertisements implicating the Product Liability Act, the Consumer Protection Act and class action law.
- In charge of the largest shopping malls in Chiang Mai Province pertaining to application for debt repayment.
- In charge of the large company group operating the business of developing and manufacturing metal vehicle parts and their Japanese director in all commercial litigation matters, criminal and civil cases filed by and against the company group and their Japanese director.
- In charge of the civil and criminal lawsuit including the rehabilitation case against the leading digital finance company listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand, having commercial presence throughout Asia.
- In charge of the civil and criminal case filed against the Former Director-General of the Revenue Department, in which the grounds of the claim are relating to corruption and unusual wealth.
- In charge of holding the general meetings and general practice required by the Stock Exchange of Thailand of the property and construction company listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
