Profile

Charles Hutchison is an associate in Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group, where he represents clients in commercial, general liability, insurance, oil and gas, and construction litigation.

Charles received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and has a B.A. in Political Science and Public Policy from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. While attending law school, he gained experience helping attorneys win products liability, insurance subrogation, and wildfire litigation cases. Charles was a student trainee at the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Enforcement Division, where he worked on actions that resulted in over $1 million payments to whistleblowers. He also worked in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia, where he assisted attorneys on employment discrimination cases.

Before attending UT law, Charles gained invaluable political experience working as a campaign manager for the Malcolm Augustine for State Senate Campaign and as a field director for Victor Ramirez for the State Senate Campaign, helping to lead both candidates to victories in the primary and general elections. Charles also worked under the late Congressman Elijah E. Cummings, former Head of Oversight Committee in the House of Representatives, and in the United Nation’s Political Affair’s Office at the Department of State.
