As an associate on the firm’s financial services litigation and compliance team, Christopher assists clients with regulatory compliance, consumer finance litigation and bankruptcy proceedings. Christopher focuses on understanding his clients’ businesses and goals in order to provide comprehensive advice and representation.

Christopher has advised financial institutions on compliance and litigation matters covering both federal and state consumer protection and consumer finance issues.  In addition, Christopher maintains an active pro-bono practice. He has assisted pro bono clients in a variety of matters including proceedings for affirmative asylum.

Relevant Experience

• Represented various financial institutions in bankruptcy litigation matters including preference claims, turnover actions, fraudulent conveyance and transfer claims, and other insolvency disputes.
• Advised various financial institutions on compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act, the Bankruptcy Code, Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other consumer compliance statutes.
• Represented national financial institution in class action litigation.
• Advised national mortgage servicer in Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act litigation matters.
