Profile

Colton’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation.

Colton has litigation experience at the federal trial and appellate levels as a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division of the Western District of Texas. Before his time in the United States Attorney’s Office, Colton served as a law clerk for the Honorable J. Michelle Childs in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. She is now a Circuit Judge at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He also clerked for two years with the Honorable Robert H. Hodges, Jr., in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C. Colton practices law pro bono through Lawyers Serving Warriors, a National Veterans Legal Services Program project.
