Profile
Daniel is a BLP Senior Associate in the San Jose office. He specializes in the practice area of ​​Public Law, Administrative Contracting & Economic Regulation.
During his experience in the legal profession, he has advised a variety of national and transnational companies in their relations with the State and other public institutions in matters of administrative contracting, municipal and urban law, maritime-terrestrial zone, as well as public works concessions, public-private partnerships, and, in general, administrative and constitutional law. In addition, he has experience advising regulated companies in the banking, transportation, and energy sectors in their relationship with the sector regulator, as well as in the regulation of new technologies in the Central American region.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was an intern at the Administrative Litigation Court. In 2014, she was a Legal Assistant in the area of ​​Public Economic Law for EPL Attorneys. Subsequently, he worked for 4 years as a lawyer in the areas of contentious administrative litigation, constitutional and administrative law at Artavia & Barrantes Abogados. In 2018, he did an internship as an International Lawyer for the firm Rubio de Casas Abogados, in Madrid, where he participated in advising FinTech companies, investment funds and financial entities on financial regulation issues.
