David is a litigation partner in Dinsmore's Houston office. In his practice, David has represented clients engaged in a wide assortment of industries, including energy, insurance, construction and transportation. He has guided clients involved in an array of commercial litigation matters, including complex contractual disputes, business torts, and Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act claims.

His experience also extends to representing insureds in a wide range of third-party insurance matters, including personal injury, premises liability, construction defects, and fraud claims. He is also well versed in defending insurance carriers in first-party common law and statutory bad faith claims. Further, David has successfully defended transportation industry clients through catastrophic personal injury and property damage cases involving 18-wheeler tractor-trailers, commercial armored vehicles, and heavy equipment.

David's experience also extends to representing energy companies in environmental tort litigation. He is also a seasoned advisor, and has counseled and represented directors and officers of various organizations during pre-suit regulatory investigations and litigation. Throughout his years of practice, he has litigated and advised clients through all phases of the litigation process, representing defendants in both state and federal court.

Before pursuing his legal career, David contributed his knowledge in Washington, D.C. as a congressional aide. In this role, he provided insightful advice to Members of Congress on complex transportation, environmental, and telecommunications issues and proposed legislation. Thereafter, David pursued his legal career attending Tulane Law School, where he graduated cum laude. With a comprehensive background, David has a proven track record of success in diverse and challenging legal scenarios.
