David Cayce is a renewable energy lawyer who helps guide clients through a variety of commercial transactions during the lifecycle of electricity generation projects, from conception through project completion and beyond. His experience includes overseeing a variety of commercial transactions, such as guiding developers through early-stage development activities, including site acquisition and other development activities; negotiating for procurement of parts and equipment for a project; negotiating construction and operating contracts such as engineering, procurement and construction agreements and operations and maintenance agreements; guiding clients through project M&A transactions; and raising capital through debt and equity project finance. David’s work with developers, IPPs and IOUs has included transactions for renewable energy projects, gas-fired power plants and nuclear generation facilities.
